I have managed a riding centre for nearly 40 years and have now retired and am doing freelance training and coaching.
I am a British Horse Society Accredited Professional Coach. I hold British Equestrian Tourism Centre Manager = (BHS Stage 5). I don’t set up as an instructor more as a help to riders who just want to progress with their horse whatever their level or dreams whether it is basic management or towards qualifications. My clients prepared (with help) their ponies/horses for their day or week in the saddle It helped with their confidence, education and understanding of the pony/horse. I think this is why I want to help ordinary everyday riders achieve their goals rather than ones that want to reach the stars. Though there is nothing wrong with that and we all have goals/dreams. Your goal/dream may be to just to take your horse for a quite ride out along country lanes or moors or beaches but you are not sure how to achieve this with confidence or enjoyment.

I train for BHS Challenge Awards, am qualified as an Equine Tourism (Ride Out) Assessor and trainer and Ride Safe trainer and Assessor, and an NVQ/QCF assessor (Updated to TAQA Standards) Sports Psychology Coach, I also hold diplomas in Coaching & Mentoring. Herbal Mastery, (Member of International Alliance of Holistic Therapists), Equine Behaviour and Psychology, I have even been Ride Leader of the Year. So I am just trying to help clients on whatever journey they are on. I am happy to come to individuals, groups of friends and groups e.g. riding clubs, livery yards. I am also available for Riding Centres may be you have staff or volunteers who would like to learn about ride management.

I am based on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border but happy to travel in different directions (I know Wales very well), to help individuals or groups. Why not do Ride Safe or the BHS Challenge Awards training for your Livery/ Riding Club members or Ride Out for your Riding Centre staff/volunteers who take your hacks out. I am happy to do hourly (local) half day or full day training.
